Terms of Service

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“Chopped,” “we,” “us”) and govern your use of the Chopped — AI Fit Check mobile app and this website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Who can use Chopped

You must be at least 13 years old [CONFIRM minimum age] to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian’s permission). You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.

2. What Chopped does — and doesn’t do

Chopped uses artificial intelligence to score outfits and generate feedback in different “judge” personalities. Scores, roasts and suggestions are automated opinions for entertainment and style inspiration. They aren’t professional advice, they can be wrong or inconsistent, and they say nothing about your worth as a person. Some judges are intentionally blunt — pick the one that suits you, and switch anytime.

3. Your content

4. Things you can’t do

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Subscriptions, free trials and billing

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the Chopped name, logo, judge personalities, designs and software, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial use. Share cards generated by the app may be shared on social media as intended.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Apple, Google (including Firebase and Gemini) and [OTHER PROVIDERS]. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app or by emailing support@chopped.fit. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we stop offering the Service. Remember to cancel any active subscription through your app store.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of AI-generated results. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chopped won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [DISPUTE RESOLUTION / ARBITRATION CLAUSE — to be drafted by counsel.] Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.

12. Apple-specific terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Chopped, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you in the app or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
